For the second year in a row, KPRC 2 is paying tribute to the hard-working heroes in our medical community.

We will recognize some of our “May Heroes,” with our HITCH mobile stage live from the Texas Medical Center on Wednesday, May 18. Coverage starts on KPRC 2 News at Midday (11 a.m.) and includes KPRC 2 News at Noon, Houston Life (3-4 p.m.), and KPRC 2 News at 4, 5 and 6 p.m.

We’ll introduce you to the the crews that rush to save lives via Life Flight, the veterans who are treating fellow veterans in the Texas Medical Center, and learn how Houston’s medical community is behind breakthroughs in the treatments of stroke, cancer, spina bifida and more.

We hope you’ll join us on air and online as we celebrate May Heroes throughout the day Wednesday.
